At the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Costa-Gavras exposes about 70 pictures taken by him, all black & white, amateur (according to the author) over the past forty years. The filmmaker, who had never specifically mentioned his talent as a photographer, yet surprising, and well worth the work of professional photographers. It is a journey through the world, the United States in China, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, France and of course, through a series of photographs taken in May 1968. Costa-Gavras does not lie his reputation as a filmmaker "engaged". He takes pictures of his friends, Jorge Semprun torque Montand / Signoret, Alain Resnais, his wife, Michelle Ray, unknown. A tribute to Chris Marker is made via photos taken by the director of "La Jetée" on the set of "Confessions" (he was the official photographer plateau).
