Piri Reis was born in 1465, in Gallipoli, Turkey, which is a coastal area. His father was Haci Mehm

In 1929, a group of historians have been researching the Topkapi palace, located in Constantinople, Turkey. Inside the palace, they found a roll of centuries-old p maps, which are made from deer skin measuring 90 x 65 cm. Map is dated Muharam 919 equals 9 March to 7 April 1513.
Above the map, they have found some strange and wondrous things. The map displays the outline coastal North and South America with a very accurate measurement. The map also contains information that is very detailed about America, the Atlantic, European and African beaches that have not been explored by European explorers on time! Another thing that is surprising to the researchers, it also displays the Antarctic continent, but the province has not been discovered until 1818!
Then they continue to make in-depth study, they made a comparison between the U.S. east coast range to the west coast of Africa on the map of the ancient with the same distance on the map of the modern one. Again they were stunned because it is very accurate and is made possible by sailors times as equipment and technology they are generally known to be very limited to make the work of cartography and mapping. Is this enough to say this ancient map is truly amazing? No. Actually there are other things that are so strange and very unusual. Extremely unusual for an ancient map made of deer skin.
Strange Maps is presented to the Arlington T Mallerey of an expert of ancient maps. After a long research, he finally felt perplexed by this strange map. Why? This is due to the geographic data on the map is not in the right position.
The people around him started 'relieved' to finally map has its drawbacks. It seemed that there was also a disadvantage because the map was made by ancient seafarers who said only recognize the compass and the stars! So what to wonder if, even though they are aware of the question of how the map will display the Antarctic is still a mystery. But Mallerey still skeptical of the map. He felt that something was wrong with the map. As if there were something more unusual like to be notified by buckskin sheets that smell fishy it.
Finally, with the help of the U.S. Navy Hydrographic Bureau, Mallerey make a grid and move the map into a globe. How surprised Mallerey because the map is available it appears very ACCURATE!
Further research done by Professor Charles H Hapgood and Richard W Strachan. They have studied p this map many times and finally found an unknown aspect of researchers before them. One thing that really impossible and incredible. p They found that the ancient map could be the aerial image photographed from a certain height. Rivers, valleys, mountains, islands and deserts, illustrated with photographic accuracy is very high. And high level photography can only be achieved by using a satellite!
Who made the stunning map? How could he make such an accurate map and sophisticated, which currently can only be done by using a satellite? p Did he come from the Vikings, known as the reliable seaman? Or at least Spanish or Portuguese explorers that they supposedly acclaimed first person to circumnavigate the globe? (Notwithstanding the fact that Ferdinand Magellan's voyage never spent as killed in the Philippines, but spent by Henry the Black or Enrique in Spanish dialects Black, whose real name is derived from the Malay Archipelago and Malay course!)
Piri Reis was born in 1465, in Gallipoli, Turkey, which is a coastal area. His father was Haci Mehmet, while his uncle was a famous admiral of the time, Kemal Reis.
Like children who generally are influenced atmosphere around it, since childhood he struggled to the beach and sailing habit. Not surprising when he was just 12 years old, he joined with his uncle, Kemal Reis.
While still a teenager, he apparently loaded with knowledge. He does not feel clumsy sailing with his uncle. And it turned out to be an early indication of his career facing the ocean and the ocean with Kemal Reis. Over 14 years of Kemal Reis to give guidance to his nephew.
Ottoman Sultanate p had given him an honorable position in the Royal Navy in 1494. Additionally with naval presence has made more powerful Ottoman Sultanate. They are known for, with no desperate struggle to uphold Isla
