So speaking of gray shades ... The shades in that picture looks unnaturally pale to me. Is it a camera phone? Did you intentionally colors "desaturate"? Because it creates an almost-black-and-white effect, a certain nostalgia to wear it. Aptly.

(... I read the poem just as the coming of the rains in the plains: Dance of the rain = the dance of our Sister, ie RAIN = SISTER, not a separate rain queen metaphor or something on the Boer War ...)
hi MnrMuller, I agree on the interpretation of the poem, I also just simply the teacher royal caribean I had, the interpretation given. The fact that I am the rain queen also geblog, I do not mean that there is any connection between the poem and the reenkongin is not, if that's what blogger / readers, I can honestly course the split, but it was not my intention royal caribean to the two in any way not visible. It was just something that suits "dance of the rain .." .. ./ rain dance ... performed. :)
hi MnrMuller I hope you "grow" rigid taalonnies like the ones I had at school and later in my studies. I hate it when the teachers ask you "What the poet is trying to say" and if you have in your head an idea, then it is not "right" because the poet meant something completely different! I can specifically remember when I was in high school and especially a few times as a student. I have poems that time with great pain gehaat..terwyl I really loved it ... and now my first really live and do what I wanted to do at that time, but because of rigid teachers, I every moment of every poetry -Les hated. I promised myself that I'd never want to be one day so do not let them enjoy poetry and see what they see in it, because every guy sees it differently ... like art, that's what poetry is! An art piece painted with words. (Please do not think I hinted at all on the teacher to me we said about Marais's poem ... not! Was just something that had long been on my mind and wish for it for someone's working with students ... and there I said it got! fun!) even the guys you have who believe that a poem is not a poem as there is not rhyming ... nonsense! - And you get bloggers who believe ("modern" people ... all for me straight out ... even my husband is such a person!;) ... I believe it is also the reason why I'm in school never wanted to write, because everything had always just rhyme! It's good to know what the poet really meant, then you understand the poem better, but I see nothing wrong if you have your own opinion and no one can tell you that you're wrong. If no one is there to explain the poem, then your opinion is also right ...
