Cannes is known for both large and wonderful boats, but obviously was our ship too big here too ..

tronderlivetmitt Trondheim, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway Dear like stopping by. This is going to be about my everyday life in Norway. I was born in 1958 and raised as Bergensener. Moved to Trondheim in 1984 have husband, daughter, son and daughter in law m / cat. The camera has accompanied me almost everywhere. I sew, knit, walk the walk. I also like to write, tell and share .. like it had to be the only blog utà v .. View my complete profile
Coincidentally, it was like this new my blog starts with a cruise in the Mediterranean. Normally this blog will be about ordinary, everyday things. But now we have 5 been on a cruise. (I, husband, daughter, son and daughter in law) The excitement was great when we went on board - one of the world's largest cruise ship .. Norwegian Epic. You world for a ship ... First impressions voted unfortunately not quite meet our expectations. Where was the style, the white tablecloths and elegant dresses? All passengers wrapped around the entire memory of Danish Ship in giant format princess cruise .. We found so fast that our heads have to shift, sat at an empty table at the karaoke bar, took the family council and decided that now would we enjoy ourselves anyway. (It got better after a while, that is) Sunday 8th July we leave from the quay in Barcelona.
DAY 1 when we were only at sea. We and all the other 4,200 passengers princess cruise spent the day sunbathing on the deck and to familiarize ourselves with the boat - and to wash hands with Lysol and say "Good morning" and "Thank You, I am fine" ... TODAY 2 In the beautiful sunrise we arrive NAPOLI. About 1 million. Inhabitants. Origin place for pizza. "Vedi Napoli e poi muori" (See Naples princess cruise to die). The city is best known for his trash piles, mafia and corruption. We kept well in our purses and saw nothing princess cruise scary, but the long and narrow alleys tempted not to walk alone in the. Yet there was a charm of the city .. The pavements were drying racks in between parked cars and scooters.
Outside NAPOLI is POMPEI. The choice was between Pompei or Capri beautiful when we were choosing outing. We agreed on Pompeii. Inn on the bus, at best "follow my green umbrella" style ... Out of the bus, escorted straight into a workshop / outlet for Cameliadamen .. We chose rather the opportunity to do a visit. The story of Pompeii is amazing. We learned it at school and we learned it now - of course we must believe that it's true .. The volcano Vesuvius (which is still tiny active) is located on a mountain next to Pompeii. In the year 79 AD Kr. there came such a violent eruption from this volcano, the mountain was blown up. Lava and ash flowed beyond Pompei and leave a kjukt layer throughout the city .. People died instantly. ON 17th century they found the buried city, and began to dig it up .. Great and interesting site ..
DAY 3 ROME .. Wonderful Rome! 4 of us had been to Rome before, one had lived there for six years. Rome is a port city and our ship is large, so we leave the harbor about 1.5 hour bus ride away .. It meant we had up to 5 hours to see Rome this day - in 35 degrees .. phew .. It was it only being efficient. And we managed to see the Colloseum, Victor Emanuel Monument (popularly called soft cake), Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain (and there were coins thrown into the water, which means you get back, you will meet kjærligheten..osv .. depending on the number of coins ..) Piazza Navona, princess cruise Phanteon, Castel Sant Angelo and of course Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square.
So had exited Rome .. Sadly, we could have been there for several days. It is such a beautiful city and so much great to see. But we have to admit that it was quite good to get on the bus with air conditioning - where all the passengers fell asleep princess cruise just as the tie ..
DAY 4 Livorno and PISA. Here too the tours, and some way to go before we got to the actual Pisa. We chose to go on their own. Got us a train ride, taxi and suddenly we were at the Leaning Tower of Pisa .. funny .. people are coming from all parts of the world to be impressed and snap photos of this famous clock tower ..
Father and son m / boyfriend just wanted to come ashore to eat delicious mussels, which does not disappoint this time either .. We two were again needed a quiet day and chose deck and sun .. Warm but windy made it a little more comfortable ..
Cannes is known for both large and wonderful boats, but obviously was our ship too big here too .. The lifeboats had to use that to get ashore. Otherwise a fun experience to see when the lifeboats were hoisted down and sat on the sea. We had passed a safety course first day, so we knew what to do if disaster struck .. But now there was no crisis, just a necessity to get to shore ..
What we knew about Marseille - really .. I was not even quite sure how they were written. The plan was that I was going to google all the places along the way, but we had very poor power board, so it was not possible .. But we knew that Marseille is Fran
