I want to systematically through a variety of duties and portfolios of student leaders (members of House committees) speaks so student leaders can focus on what really matters, rather than time spent on activities that are not long-term impact on their environments (residences, private wards) will have.
With "portfolios" I mean tasks to specific students assigned leaders, such as a house dance line or on behalf of residents with food service providers to eliminate. There are many portfolios over the years devised - the most famous I describe briefly below: Prime or Prime: the main student residence / private ward as chairman of the House Committee (HC) serves and overall responsibility for the functioning of the HK primaria or onderprimaria: supportive of the main student, often with one or two high-level portfolios Secretary: author of the agendas and minutes for HO and house meetings, the convenor of the executive committee of the committee, often responsible for internal HC communication p & o and -gelukwensings, normally curator of policies and protocols Treasurer, the chief financial officer of the committee responsible for the budget and deposits and payments, liaising with the university's Department of Finance) Social: HK member responsible for organizing p & o of (some) social functions, especially dances, but other linkages, particularly with other hostels p & o / private's p & o HK's Sport: coordinating sports teams for league games, often with the help of a series of elected representatives and / or coaches; sometimes responsible for organizing an inter-campus sports tour Culture: the HK-member events where residents arrange different types of culture (theater, music, literature, art, etc..) vividly. Above the portfolios that most residents are familiar, but RC members took more hay on their fork.
